SmartTherapy® Pastern Ice Wraps

The SmartTherapy® Pastern Ice Wraps deliver cooling support to hard-working tendons and ligaments. Ideal for performance horses or horses in rehabilitation, icing therapy may reduce inflammation and aid in recovery after exercise or injury. The pastern wraps feature gel ice pockets held in place by mesh, allowing them to effectively mold to your horse’s leg and provide even pressure. Breathable neoprene outer has foil lining to help keep wraps colder for longer and secures with one easy Velcro-closure elastic strap.

For best results, freeze ice packs for at least 7 hours prior to use. Please note, these boots do not freeze fully solid to allow for contouring around the horse’s leg. Horses should not be left unattended while icing. Made using non-toxic, human food grade gel.
